Accreditation Application
Designed for long-term value, a five-year accreditation term means fewer applications over time, reducing both administrative work and long-term costs.

Full-Service Sleep Center $5,000 5 years Includes one sleep clinic, in-lab sleep testing, and HSAT services.
HSAT-Focused Practice $4,500 5 years Includes one sleep clinic and HSAT diagnostic services only.
Included at No Additional Cost
Your accreditation fee includes access to the application and standards, guidance from a dedicated accreditation coordinator, practical resources, milestone recognition, and inclusion in the AASM Sleep Center Directory.

Accreditation Networks
New Application (Accreditation Network) Fee: New locations added to an established accreditation network are charged a prorated fee based on the length of their adjusted accreditation term.
Volume Pricing: Networks with 5 or more accredited services qualify for volume pricing.

AASM reserves the right to perform a site visit at any time when it deems warranted. If a site visit is required outside of a new accreditation application or reaccreditation application process, the AASM will bill the entity a flat fee of $2000* to cover the costs of a site visit.
*Fee applies to the continental United States. Additional fees may apply for facilities located outside the continental United States.
Change Requests
An entity must notify the AASM within 30 days of the following: changes to the primary contact, Network or Site Director, accredited services offered, ownership or name, as well as addition of pediatric services, reduction, expansion, closure, or relocation.

Application Fee Refunds
An entity may withdraw their application for accreditation at any time or may have their application voided due to non-response to application queries. A portion of the accreditation fee will be refunded to the entity, the amount of which will be determined based upon the status of the application at the time of withdrawal or voided application:

Logo Usage and Advertisement of Accredited Status
Each accredited service location is authorized to promote its AASM accredited services. This can be accomplished through text or the use of the AASM accreditation logo. It’s imperative to understand that any use of an AASM logo other than the AASM accreditation logo is strictly prohibited. The AASM accreditation logo is exclusive to accredited services provided at the specific location(s) that have obtained AASM accreditation. Non-AASM-accredited services are prohibited from using the AASM logo in any capacity. If a service is found to misrepresent itself by using the AASM logo, or if any other service operates alongside an accredited service location but lacks accreditation, a warning will be issued. Continued misuse of the logo may result in legal action, including accreditation revocation and a $1,000 fine for each offense.
